Facilities and Operations Executive)
Requirements:
– completed Secondary education.
– willing to work weekends.
– some handyman experience is preferred.
1. Building Services Operations & Maintenance of the building and property – MEP and etc
– inspect for maintenance work due
– manage and implement projects for asset upgrading and replacement
– conduct fire drill in church premises, including working with preschool.
2. Building Security
– handle any requests to enter the church premises
– attend to any loitering strangers and inform authorities where necessary.
– manage security during night meetings/events.
3. Housekeeping & Janitorial Services.
– ensure proper upkeep, cleanliness, and security of the church premises
– inspect and maintain facilities in church premises on a daily/weekly basis
– Follow-up on feedback received from members and staff about church facilities
– liaise with vendors, contractors and service providers for repairs and maintenance and ensure that work is carried out satisfactorily
– supervise the work and conduct of the cleaners and work closely with Admin Manager on cleaners performance
– manage maintenance spares and source for quotes to purchase
– tables and chairs setup for ministries, meetings
– overseeing use of church premise for wedding event
– ensure readiness of church premises and winding down for major church events/activities, e.g. weekly worship services, combined services, Holy week services, Christmas, Watchnight.
4. External Landscape and Car Park
– upkeep clean and tidy outlook of the church premises
– arranging for plant pruning and maintenance
– manage illegal attachments to the boundaries of the church
– manage unauthorised parking in carpark, including reporting to authorities where necessary
5. Any Other Tasks assigned by Supervisor and Pastor-In-Charge.
